It’s almost the weekend again! Where does the time go? While I am busy working in the background on my new photos, here is a lovely elephant from my last trip to South Africa.
Happy Friday everyone!

It’s almost the weekend again! Where does the time go? While I am busy working in the background on my new photos, here is a lovely elephant from my last trip to South Africa.
Happy Friday everyone!

I’m away for several weeks, so I have scheduled my regular Monday, Wednesday and Friday posts in advance. I will moderate and respond to any comments just as soon as I am able.
I am hoping to be taking loads of photos, so if you would like to follow along, please feel free to give my page a like on Facebook @jennifersawickyphotography and a follow over on Instagram at jensawicky.
It’s been a busy week as I’ve been getting ready to head off on holiday, and I haven’t been out taking many photos. I have seen loads of wildlife though, including 5 deer at one time, a bear, and the hairy woodpecker family.
Since I have nothing new to share this week, I thought I would post a few more of the photos I call my artistic impressions.
I hope you enjoy them, have a great week!

Any day is a good day for posting an elephant photo 🙂 Here’s one from the time we got stuck in the river we spent so long watching the ellies.
Happy Friday Everyone!

It seems I could only stray from elephants for one Friday! Have a great weekend everyone!

I decided to combine my usual Monochrome Monday with a WPC topic of the week: Muse. What topic do I return to time and time again? What subject inspires me? What am I ALWAYS excited to photograph?
If you’ve read this blog for more than a week, you’ll know the answer, it’s easy:
Elephants 🙂
I’d happily spend a day, a week, a lifetime in the presence of elephants. Photographing them of course, but more importantly just being in their presence, enjoying their rumbles and trumpeting, feeling the vibrations of their communications at levels we can’t hear, revealing in their beautiful, peaceful nature.
Here are a couple photos that popped out at me this time for editing and posting.
Enjoy, and have a wonderful week.

Note – this isn’t the current WPC topic of the week… not even close. But when I was looking for the current one, this spoke one spoke to me. Onto Harmony later in the week.
A few photos of my favourites, the elephants, on this World Wildlife Day.
